WTG R3 - Fashionable Outline

-Canterlot is hosting the first round of a series of screening tryouts for the Wonderbolts and Dashie got an invitation (she has proven her skills solo in Sonic Rainboom, but the GGG would not have been enough time to get to know her. While her exploits would prove her ability to work in a team with her friends against threats like Nightmare Moon and Discord, they would still probably want to see how she works with ponies outside her circle of friends. So an exclusive invitation seems about the right level of favouratism).

-A PR party is being held the night before and remembering how the noble ponies pretty much took all the Wonderbolts'

This is my submission for the Aug NATG2012 Day 13 theme - draw a pony in charge or in the lead. A threat has been made against Canterlot. A threat that's somewhere out there and Captain of the Guard Shining Armor knows it. Too bad it's always in the last place he'd look...

Anyway, this is one of those drawings that kind of ran away on me. I started out with just Shining leaning against a small section of wall, but it just ballooned from there. First the foreground wall, then the background because the foreground didn't look right. But then that was just floating off in nowhere land, so I added the tower wall. The spear and clouds were thrown in because at that point I might as well.
